Retention Pattern Review

Understand why your people stay, and why they leave.

A quiet, thorough look at the shape of your organisation's turnover, read from records and conversation rather than assumption.

All offers

What you receive

A written account of how long people typically stay in your organisation, which roles or teams differ from that average, and what the timing of past departures suggests about where the working experience changes. It is a clearer picture than the one you had before, not a verdict.

The problem it addresses

Recruitment costs that keep climbing without an obvious explanation are frustrating to sit with, especially when nothing day to day feels badly wrong. The cause is often not one event but a pattern spread across several departures, which is hard to see without stepping back.

How it works

We read the service records you provide together with conversations held in confidence, and treat neither as the whole story. Results are reported as patterns across the organisation, never as individual cases, so the findings stay usable for decisions.

What the process is like

The review runs alongside normal operations. It starts with the records, then conversations are arranged with a cross-section of current and recent staff. Short progress notes are shared along the way so the final report holds no surprises.

Scope and guide price

from ¥26,000

Indicative scope: about three weeks from receipt of records to the written report.

  • Analysis of the service records you provide
  • Confidential conversations with a cross-section of current and former staff
  • Written report with the observed patterns
  • Questions for management to consider

Suited to organisations of roughly thirty people or more. The guide price is confirmed in a written quote, including how consumption tax is treated, before work starts. Payment arrangements are agreed individually in writing.

Records and personal data

Service records contain personal information. You are responsible for having the right to share them; we ask that names be removed or replaced with codes before the records reach us wherever that is practical, and we handle what we receive as described in the privacy policy.

How the work is checked

The method compares tenure bands and the timing of departures within your own history instead of benchmarking you against outside averages that may not fit your context. If the records turn out too thin to show anything, we will say so in the report.

What it does not cover

It does not forecast turnover, promise that departures will fall, evaluate named employees or recommend dismissals, and it does not include finding or introducing candidates. Legal questions about employment contracts belong with a qualified professional.

Next steps

Write to us with a short description of your situation. We will reply to arrange a first conversation and take it from there at whatever pace suits you. A first message does not commit you to anything.
