Terms of Service

These terms cover the use of the Twinkle Colony website. The terms of an advisory engagement itself are set out separately in the Terms and Conditions and in the written quote.
1. What the site is for
The site describes the advisory services of Twinkle Colony and lets you send an enquiry. It is not a job board and not a recruitment service, and no vacancies are listed on it.
2. Using the site
You may read the site and send an enquiry for lawful business or personal purposes. Please do not send false or abusive messages, material you have no right to share, or CVs and job applications, and do not try to disturb or overload the site.
3. No account
The site has no accounts, logins or purchases. Nothing you do on it forms a contract; a service begins only after a written quote has been agreed.
4. Information on the site
We try to keep the content accurate, but it is general information. Prices are guide prices, indicative durations may change in the written quote, and nothing on the site is employment, labour or legal advice. Text can change without notice.
5. Availability
The site is provided as it is. We cannot promise it will always be reachable and may change or take down pages.
6. Copyright
Text and layout belong to the operator of Twinkle Colony. You may quote short passages with a link back to the page; other reuse needs written permission. The photographs are stock images used for illustration.
6a. Enquiries you send
What you send through the form or by email is used to answer you, as set out in the privacy policy. Please keep your message to what is needed: no passwords, no identification numbers and no information about third parties that you are not entitled to share.
6b. Applications and CVs
Twinkle Colony does not hire through this site and does not act for job seekers or for employers who want candidates found. A CV or application sent to us cannot be forwarded and will be deleted without being passed on.
6c. Suspending access
If a message or use of the site looks abusive, we may stop answering it or block the sender without notice.
7. Links
Links to external sites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they say or how they treat your data.
8. Liability
Use of the site is at your own judgement. We are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information published here, except where Japanese law does not allow liability to be excluded, for example for intentional or grossly negligent acts.
8a. Browsers and accessibility
The pages are plain HTML and work in current versions of the common browsers. If a page is hard to read with your assistive technology or on your device, tell us which page and what went wrong and we will look at it.
8b. Language
The site and these terms are written in English. If a Japanese rendering is ever added for convenience, the English text is the one that applies unless we say otherwise.
8c. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms when the site or our practice changes. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the one that applies from the day it is published.
9. Law
These terms are governed by Japanese law. A dispute that cannot be settled by talking is to be brought before the court that has jurisdiction under Japanese law.
