Onboarding Design Support
Give new arrivals a first ninety days worth staying for.
A deliberate design for the early period, so questions are answered and progress is discussed before someone quietly decides to move on.
All offersWhat you receive
A written outline of the first ninety days for a new arrival: who is responsible for the introduction, what is expected at each stage, and when a considered conversation about progress takes place. What used to be uncertain becomes something written down and shared.
The problem it addresses
Watching a promising hire leave within the first year is disheartening, especially when the reasons given feel incomplete. The difficulty often traces back to the first weeks: nobody obvious to ask, no natural moment to raise a concern, no date set to talk honestly about how things are going.
How it works
We work with the receiving manager and relevant team members to name a point of contact for questions, set realistic expectations for each stage, and put the progress conversation on the calendar instead of leaving it to chance.
What the process is like
Two working sessions with a gap of a few weeks, leaving room to test the first draft in practice and adjust. Between the sessions we stay reachable by message for questions that arise while the outline takes shape.
Scope and guide price
from ¥20,000
Scope: two working sessions across about four weeks.
- Written ninety-day onboarding outline
- Checklist for the receiving manager
- Support by message between the two sessions
Suited to an organisation where new arrivals have left within their first year. The guide price is confirmed in a written quote, including how consumption tax is treated, before work starts. Payment arrangements are agreed individually in writing.
How the work is checked
The outline is written so it can be tested against reality: is the named contact actually reachable, are the expectations at each stage realistic, and does the progress conversation happen on the date set? Your team can verify these without us.
What it does not cover
It does not include recruiting the new arrivals, running induction training, drafting employment contracts or work rules, or any promise that people will stay. If the outline does not feel workable once it is written down, we revise it with you within the agreed scope.
Next steps
Write to us with a short description of your situation. We will reply to arrange a first conversation and take it from there at whatever pace suits you. A first message does not commit you to anything.
